Welcome to our new BIOS² intern, Jake Lawlor

This fall we are thrilled to be hosting Jake Lawlor, who will be completing an internship through the Computational Biodiversity Science and Services (BIOS² ) training program.

Through training in marine ecology and biogeography, Jake has fostered a passion for data analysis and visualization that he is keen to apply to new challenges (bonus: he’s an avid R user!).

Jake is currently completing a PhD in biology at McGill, studying how climate change causes species to move around the world. To learn more about Jake’s work, check out his Github repo and website .

Welcome to the team, Jake!
